A chef-driven gourmet food experience to go, located in downtown Dundas, Ontario. As well, we offer catering services for events both large and small, from 10 person sit-down dinners, extensive hors d’ouevres parties to 300 person backyard weddings. You can choose from an existing catering menu or custom design a menu with Chef Ken LeFebour to suit your tastes.
In our Gourmet to Go patrons are given the opportunity to design their meals based on daily selections from a blackboard menu. For our customers Nellie James is an alternative to contemporary take-out food, long hours spent in the kitchen and dining out. Our mission is to supply real food: No additives, no preservatives, hand-made with no shortcuts. We are blessed to work with talented local farmers and suppliers. As well, due to this from-scratch philosophy our food can accommodate vegetarianism, veganism, gluten free and allergen aware diets.
In addition to our blackboard menu, we provide weekly specials.
On Fridays, customers are treated to a prix fixe dinner for two which includes appetizer, entrée and dessert for $38 to $40. This prix fixe special is posted every Thursday and has become a showcase for the kitchen’s creativity.
